Speech night is State High’s opportunity to celebrate its achievements and reward those students who have worked hard to achieve their maximum potential. This year our Dux recipient is Nicole Just - our congratulations are extended to her. Nicole has worked hard in many different areas achieving academic excellence, sporting excellence and community excellence awards.

I consider it a privilege to be the Principal of this school. It is a great school, and a great place to be for students, staff, parents and carers. It offers a supportive, challenging and positive learning environment where every student is encouraged to "Reach For the Stars", in a safe, team environment where individuals count.

The staff give 110%, and work alongside every young person, so they are able to reach their full potential.

Gladstone State High School is a school with many great traditions that have developed over its long history. Gladstone State High School began as a separate secondary department attached to Gladstone State School (now known as Gladstone Central State School). In 1953, the current Gladstone State High was established.

Speech Night 2008 Awards Presentations

A reminder that the 2008 Speech Night Awards will be held at the Gladstone Entertainment Centre this Thursday.

This is a great event to attend to celebrate our achievements together.

Stephen Mills Photography will also be available Speech Night to take photos of award winners. Packages include either 13x18cm colour print for $12 or 20x28cm colour print for $22. Payment will be required on the night.
