The Athletics Carnival is held in Term 3 and caters for all students. A series of Year level mini-carnivals are held in the lead up to the big day. On the day a mixture of track, field and novelty events are held to encourage participation by all students. A highlight of the day is the Gladstone Gift for boys and girls. The Gift is a handicap race for the age group winners of the 100m sprint. Invariably a close and exciting race is the result.
