Gladstone State High School maintains a proud sporting tradition. Students participate in numerous sports at Port Curtis, Capricornia, Queensland and Australian levels. The school also participates in state-wide competitions in many sports such as netball, hockey, rugby league, volleyball, cricket, soccer and basketball.

The school is extremely proud of the achievements of its students in this field and also of the teachers who give so freely of their time in ensuring our athletes in so many fields can achieve their best.
