Partnership Agreement In some cases it is mutually beneficial for school and outside RTOs to share the delivery of a VET course, particularly where the school does not have the necessary scope of registration for a particular qualification. This may be due to a school being unable to meet either the Human Resource or Physical Resource requirements of a course. Generally speaking a formal partnership arrangement should be entered into to ensure all parties understand their responsibilities. Youth Access Programs (for 2005) which are primarily for students in Year 10 to enable them to gain an insight into particular areas. These programs are advertised to students at the beginning of each year. For the course to proceed there needs to be a total of 14 students either from one school or a combination of local schools including Gladstone SHS, Toolooa SHS, Tannum Sands SHS and Chanel College.

Certificate II in Beauty Therapy Certificate II in Nail Technology Certificate II in Hairdressing Certificate II in Pre-Vocational Certificate II in Children's Services Literacy and Numeracy - students who are experiencing difficulties with school in general due to inadequate literacy and numeracy skills can be assessed at TAFE and from there attend appropriate programs.
